Overview
The presence of countless snowy mountains, moraines, glaciers, and Sherpa Villages has made this region, Solukhumbu, also Khumbu region, a majestic destination. There are countless trekking routes in the region. Gokyo Chola Pass Trek is an ideal trekking route of this region that combined the Everest Base Camp Chola Pass with Gokyo lake Trek. The Gokyo Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek is more technically advanced than some of the other treks in the area – and therefore more adventurous!
Initially it begins with the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a beautiful village in Khumbu region. Many scenic villages like Namche bazar will arrive in the way. Ascending higher, we will reach Gokyo valley also, including Gokyo Lake. The scenic beauty of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and other will take breath away. The trek continues forward crossing the Cho-la Pass at around 5,420 meter which may required clearing ice way depending on the season. While crossing pass, the panoramic view of Ama Dablam can be enjoyed. Descending from pass will reach to Everest Base Camp. Reaching at Everest Camp and enjoying the view all around in 360 degrees will stun everyone visiting there. The return will be from EBC to Namche bazar and to Lukla. Also, some trekkers wish to do it in clockwise direction i.e. from Lukla to Namche Bazar and to EBC then to Gokyo lake and Gokyo valley and then back to Namche Bazar.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1300 m / 4265 ft
- Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu
- Meet and greet with a representative of the Across Himalaya
- Transfer to the hotel for check-in
- Briefing about the trek and preparation
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (Flight) to Phakding 2651 m / 8697 ft – 3 hrs
- Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla
- Arrival at Lukla airport and meet the trekking crew
- Start trekking to Phakding, a small village in the Khumbu region
- Overnight stay at a tea-house
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3438 m / 11279 ft – 5 to 6 hrs
- Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
- Cross several suspension bridges and pass through beautiful villages like Monjo and Jorsalle
- Namche Bazaar is the gateway to the Everest region

Day 04: Acclimatization day
- Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization
- Hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam

Day 12: Trek from Gorakshep to Pheriche (Morning hike to EBC) 4200 m / 13779 ft – 8 hrs
